ACTION REQUESTED:
The request to vacate a sanitary sewer easement comes from Restoration Hardware (RH) who is building a store in the same location. As part of the Development Agreement, RH will provide new easements over the utilities they are relocating in private property.
INTRODUCTION:
Private utility companies were contacted for feedback regarding the vacation request. Comcast has utilities in the area along France Avenue but do not object to the vacation as long as they retain rights to access their utilities. Centerpoint and CenturyLink has no objection to the vacation.
Staff recommends City Council approve Resolution No. 2017-113. |
