INTRODUCTION:

The developers of the proposed Estelle Edina project at 69th Street and France Avenue have requested that the Edina Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) consider becoming an active partner in the creation of new affordable housing units in the event that the Estelle Edina project moves forward.

 

Recognizing that affordable housing has been a long standing goal of the HRA, staff has prepared a background memo and outlined potential implementation strategies for discussion purposes.
