ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve request for purchase for pneumatic actuator valve replacement in water treatment plant #4 from Vessco for $49,674.

INTRODUCTION:

The environmental considerations are that the replacement of these pieces of equipment will ensure that water treatment plant #4 operates in the most efficient manner thereby ensuring the least amount of energy is used. 

 

The Comprehensive Plan states that renewal and replacement of major assets at or near the end of their service life is critical to ensure a reliable water system. 

 

The funding of this replacement was included in the recently approved 2023-2028 CIP.
